Exclusive - Newcastle’s Grey Street closes to film stunt scenes

By Paul Smith • Aug 21st, 2008 • Category: events

Bollywood superstar Arshad Wasi has been filming his latest blockbuster Kaun Bola in Newcastle for over a month now, and it’s time to get serious.

Darkside Pictures are filming a stunt scene on Grey Street in the city centre next Sunday, the 31st August.

“We plan to shoot the sequence sometime between 8am and 8pm,” says Lee Alliston from the production company.

“It’ll involve flipping at VW Beetle belonging to the heroine of the film. We’re bringing up from London a stunt team of about ten people to ensure the safety of our crew and to see that we execute the stunt faultlessly.”

If you head over for the day, we’d love to share any photos you add to Flickr - find out more here.
