what’s going on in newcastle and tyneside

Up all night for the US elections at the Tyneside Cinema

Hey, we can’t vote but we’re happy to nail our colours to the mast: McCain is an old man riddled with disease, hellbent on military solutions to the world’s problems who’ll most likely die before his term is up leaving that vacuous tart in the stilettos to rule over the free world. And we like Obama.

If you’re as wrapped up in the political shenanigans occurring over 3,000 miles away, you’re in good company because so is Newcastle’s Tyneside Cinema.

On Tuesday 4th November from 9pm, the Tyneside Bar opens to broadcast the results as they’re announced. Last entry is at 11.30pm and the bar stops serving at 1am, but there’s free tea and coffee to keep you going through into the early hours.

There’s limited access to this event so you’ll need a free ticket in advance from the Tyneside Box Office, or by calling 0845 217 9909.

  1. Here here!

Nice to see Newcastlecentric is taking an objective approach to the elections…

    P.S. McCain eats donkey dick.

  2. Sounds great - I’ll stop by the box office and see if I can grab a ticket tomorrow. Anyone want me to grab one for them??
