Another armed raid in Newcastle

Another day, yet another armed robbery in Tyneside. This time a shop assistant was threatened with a knife during a robbery at an off-licence in Newcastle.
The BBC reports that the armed man fled with money from the till after threatening the female worker at Threshers on Station Road in Gosforth.
According to Northumbria Police, the member of staff was left shaken but unharmed during the incident at the shop yesterday afternoon.
