The Star and Shadow cinema in Newcastle has been banned from showing the film Match Point as part of its Woody Allen season, because the film’s distributor’s discovered it was to be shown it as part of a tongue-in-cheek season of bad films.
A North Shields woman has been ordered to pay nearly £200 after she was caught throwing a cigarette butt on the ground.
