Two dead in Newcastle flat are “Chinese students”, says neighbour

A murder investigation began after the discovery at an upstairs flat in Croydon Road, near Newcastle General Hospital on Westgate Road.
According to the BBC, a neighbour has said they are believed to be Chinese and possibly students.
Northumbria Police said officers and pathologists were working to determine how the pair died, and were speaking to local residents. No details have been released concerning the age or sex of the victims.
On Saturday night police removed a silver hatchback car while forensic experts examined the property.
